Carlsberg UK has launched Eve, a 100% natural fruit spritzer drink, into the UK market and has signed up Louise Redknapp as brand ambassador. Louise will appear as part of a £3m marketing campaign for the drink's nationwide launch. “The drinks industry has largely ignored female consumers in the on-trade for a long time, which is criminal,” said director of customer marketing, David Scott. “Women are visiting pubs and bars more frequently than ever, spend more on premium brands and have a wider drinks repertoire than men.
